I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and was fortunate to be surrounded by diversity. Both of my parents are from China, which make me a first generation Chinese American. My love of learning and working with others sprouted at a young age. My positive experience through public schools, and having inclusive teachers, transferred to my passion for education.
During my five years as a 5th grade teacher, I started to find a deep interest in technology integration and how our students engage in these tools in meaningful ways. I started my masters in Educational Technology at Michigan State University and graduated in 2021. In the gallery below, I have highlighted moments and people that have greatly influenced my journey. Each picture played a role in shaping me into the person, and most importantly, the educator I am today. |
